About Campsites Norfolk

Why this works so well for our partners?

We know the area, Amy worked in Hospitality for about 7 years before working on customer services for a further 15 years so far. Simon is a Digital Marketing Specialist who helps a business develop their online profiles. With these two experience bases, it seemed like such a great fit for both website users looking for honest camping recommendations and for campsites that would like to feature on the website and put themselves in front of thousands of visitors per month.

How do we help campers?

We visit local campsites to experience first hand their facilities and then provide blog reviews, photographs and some observational material to help you understand the campsite before you visit. We would always recommend checking sites online reviews as well, but sometimes a bad season or a disgruntled camper can draw negative feedback which is not deserved. We have seen some scathing reviews online from Campers who have misunderstood the campsites facilities and have arrived expecting Butlins or Haven type experiences - Mostly this is campers who were out of the area.

We will help you to avoid this with an apprised view of the site compared to others and also a fair review of the sites niche or specific proposition. Is it small, does it boast woodland or beach views?

History

Although as small children our families both camped, using Trailer tents. As we grew our families then reengaged with camping in the '90s, starting on a tent and then moving onto a host of caravans, these kept improving. When Amy and I decided to bite the bullet and kick-off our camping bug we brought small discounted tent from Tesco online, after our first weekend it was clear our small family loved it… For 3 seasons we kept the small starter tent before researching, viewing and finally choosing a Vango Rivendale Air-beam 6 man which has transformed our camping. Rain or shine (Shine is preferred) we can be found pitched up on a site in Norfolk, having a lovely time Friday through Sunday.
